Birthright is committed to providing confidential, non-judgmental support to any woman who is pregnant or thinks she might be pregnant, no matter her age, race, circumstances, religion, marital status or financial situation. We help expectant mothers with essentials such as pregnancy testing, medical, housing and counseling referrals as well as maternity and baby items.

Uniting people facing homelessness with loving, supportive communities they can call home. At Friendship House, we meet individuals and families wherever they are in their journey. Our compassionate staff help them experience the hope, empowerment and self-sufficiency they deserve. Friendship House serves New Castle County through various programs that attempt to fill the gaps in the homeless service network.

Our vision at Hope Dining Room is to serve a midday hot meal with dignity, to those in need in the Greater Newark Delaware area. We have been serving a free hot midday meal to those in need in the Greater Newark Area since 1983. We operate out of the Social Hall of the Kingswood Methodist Church at 300 Marrows Rd in Newark, DE.

Founded in 2007 by Joyce Tannian of Newark, Delaware and Joseph Larasha of Kenya, Water is Life Kenya (WILK) is a IRS designated 501 (C) (3) nonprofit dedicated to bringing clean, accessible water to the Maasai people in drought-prone rural communities in Southern Kenya. WILK has completed 24 projects in 18 communities transforming the lives of more than 55,000 people.
